MINI AT GOODWOOD 2018.
Our appetite to innovate has always taken us to exciting places. In 2018, we took Goodwood visitors into the future of MINI. Guests were electrified at Goodwood when they experienced the UK Premier of the MINI Electric Concept. And we didn’t stop with just one concept. We also showcased the John Cooper Works GP Concept too. Scroll down to discover more about what went on.
WHAT WENT ON.
Enticing prizes. An interactive dancefloor. Two concept cars. The whole MINI range. A barbershop. A VIP owners lounge. It was a busy year, that’s for sure. Read on to discover the detail of what happened.
THE MINI ELECTRIC DANCEFLOOR.
The MINI Electric dancefloor was where guests enjoyed live DJs, bright lights and good vibes. But it wasn’t just any old dancefloor. It was fully interactive. Using kinetic energy to create stunning visualisations. The more people who danced, the bigger the beats were.
THE JOHN COOPER WORKS GP CONCEPT.
Our designers and engineers pushed the boundaries to develop the beast that is the John Cooper Works GP Concept. Complete with the soul of a racecar and the DNA of a MINI.
THE CLUBMAN BARBERSHOP.
Cars don’t get much more refined than the MINI Clubman. In 2018, the Clubman section of the MINI pavilion featured the talented Murdock Barbers, who offered a menu of grooming services including facials and beard trims.
THE MINI CONVERTIBLE PRIZE GIVEAWAY.
Guests tried their luck in the MINI Convertible area, where a wall of brightly coloured lockers contained mystery prizes. All they had to do was pick a key, find the matching locker and open up. They were filled with goodies like discount vouchers and MINI accessories.
ACCESS ALL AREAS.
Folks with a set of MINI keys showed them to a member of staff at the MINI Goodwood pavilion to access the owners lounge. A perfect pitstop, where they could enjoy a breather with a cup of tea or coffee – and = use our charging points to get their phone back to full battery.
THE WHOLE MINI RANGE.
The whole gang was there, from the sun loving MINI Convertible to the urban exploring MINI Hatch. Guests had a chance to size up all the cars and find their perfect match and even speak to our experts who were on hand.
THE LIFESTYLE STORE.
Our lifestyle range was on show at Goodwood 2018, with everything from wardrobe staples to practical accessories, offering the perfect treat for every enthusiast.
