5 EASY STEPS TO YOUR NEW MINI
STEP ONE
DISCUSS YOUR OPTIONS WITH A MINI FINANCIAL SERVICES SPECIALIST.
At every MINI Dealership, you'll find a Financial Services Specialist with extensive expertise in motor finance and leasing for business.

Whether your business is interested in a single MINI or a small fleet, they'll talk you through the options, explain the solutions we offer and give you the information you need to make the decision that's right for your business.
STEP TWO
SELECT THE FINANCE SOLUTION THAT SUITS YOUR BUSINESS.
When you’ve decided on the finance solution that’s right for your business, the Financial Services Specialist will provide you with a quotation.

If you decide to proceed, you’ll be asked to complete a credit application. This will be sent to us at MINI Financial Services, and under normal circumstances we’ll provide an answer within two to four hours.

At the time of completing your credit application you’ll be asked to read a notice which explains how we’ll use the data you provide.
STEP THREE
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS.
As part of the application process, we'll need to see proof of identity. If you're a sole trader or self-employed, we'll ask to see:
  • Your full UK Driving Licence.
  • A second proof of your current address, ideally a public utility bill or a bank statement (dated within three months of the date on your application form) or a solicitor's letter.*
If you're financing a MINI on behalf of a company, we require a named director of the company to provide a copy of their driving licence, or if this is not available, their passport. For partnerships we require the same documentation, but it should be the named partner who provides the information.

The documents you supply must be originals. But don't worry, the Financial Services Specialist will photocopy them and return them to you before you leave.

If you're planning to part exchange a current car, please also bring along the DVLA V5 vehicle documentation (log book).

When we receive the completed finance application and proofs of identity, we'll check your credit worthiness by making searches at credit reference agencies and see whether you meet our underwriting criteria.

*Unfortunately we cannot accept store card statements, Social Security books or mobile telephone bills as proof of address.
STEP FOUR
COMPLETE THE AGREEMENT.
If we accept your finance application, the Financial Services Specialist will print an agreement document and some pre-contract information for you to read. You’ll need to check and sign the agreement before taking delivery of your MINI.

Please ensure that:
  • You’re happy with the way MINI Financial Services will use the information you provide to us.
  • All financial details, and those of your business, are correct, particularly the first instalment date.
  • You’ve read and understood the Terms and Conditions of the agreement, as they are legally binding and form the basis of your agreement with us.
  • The direct debit is fully completed, and the bank account number and sort code are correct.
If you need to make any corrections, please initial the changes, and then sign the agreement.
STEP FIVE
TAKE DELIVERY OF YOUR MINI.
Once you’ve signed it, you’ll be given a copy of the finance agreement. You’re then free to take delivery of your new MINI.

Shortly after you sign the agreement, we’ll send you a guide which contains essential information about the agreement plus additional information that might be of interest.
