ABOUT PLANT OXFORD.
Plant Oxford is the heart of MINI. It's where all the parts are assembled and come together to make road-ready MINI models. It's the largest and oldest of our UK production plants and 2023 marks Plant Oxford's 110th anniversary.
Here, steel pannels from Plant Swindon and engines from Plant Hams Hall come together with parts from all over the world to produce the iconic MINI. Around 800 MINIs are produced at our Plant each day, with a car coming off the line every 67 seconds!

ABOUT PLANT SWINDON.
Plant Swindon was established in 1955 – built by Pressed Steel Company to help produce car bodies. An extension of Plant Oxford and an essential part of the plant family.
Here, body panels are produced from sheet steel using one of the most advanced press lines in the world. At Plant Swindon, an array of different parts are produced for the BMW Group, with many destined for Plant Oxford to become MINIs!
