Sharing our passion for community spirit, supporting others, and always looking on the bright side, parkrun are the perfect partners to help us with our Big Love goal to make everyone a little happier. And because community needs inclusivity, we’ve created the Big Love Bootbank.
SO WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?
We think running should be accessible for everyone. As well as how good it is for you physically, there’s nothing quite like those post-jog endorphins for making your mind happier. So we’ve introduced the MINI Big Love Bootbank – a place where people can donate running gear. From trainers to tees, if it’s still got some miles in it, we’d love to receive it. The kit will then all be donated to Preloved Sports – an amazing organisation who are all about reducing clothes waste and giving everyone what they need to give running a go.
IT ALL STARTS IN SOUTHAMPTON.
We figured there’s nowhere better than a parkrun to find loads of lovely people that are keen to make a difference – and that just might have some running stuff going spare. So the Big Love Bootbank will make its debut at the Southampton parkrun on Saturday 4 June.
