With all new Experience Modes you have the power to transform your cabin with a touch and bring a unique MINI feeling to every drive. There are seven modes available as standard across the new MINI family, with an eighth mode available for the MINI Countryman.

Each new Experience Mode can be accessed via the flick of a toggle bar, or through the sleek, world-first circular OLED display at the heart of the interior. Core, Go-Kart, Green, Vivid, Timeless, Balance, Personal and Trail all have their own signature lighting, soundscape and design. Plus, some of them can even enhance that MINI feeling. From Go-Kart Mode’s sportier handling to the extraordinary interior environments of Vivid Mode.

Each mode is brought to life by a different story from all four corners of the country. So sit back, relax and dive into one of our eight new worlds.

GO KART MODE.

Go-Kart Mode is about turning up the fun, being agile and staying true to who we are. Stiffer steering feel and increased accelerator pedal sensitivity is guaranteed to bring you more smiles per mile. Plus, you’ll hear sportier sounds and see classic black and red colours.

Meet Alec Briggs.

He’s been lighting up the bike racing scene for years with his own colourful, exciting and multidisciplinary approach. An original Mini owner himself, Alec knows all about that Go-Kart feeling.

Alec showed us his local South London spots, chatted us through his own take on bike racing - finding that feeling of total flow and harnessing his handling skills to experience the rush of perfecting a corner and having fun.

Fun and responsive go-kart handling is a MINI signature –– and this mode, which comes as standard, takes it to a whole new level! Get ready for sharper gear shifts, agile handling and immediate torque, plus a bold look inspired by MINI’s motorsport DNA. Think sporty shades of anthracite and red, and a classic speedometer that can transform from digital to analogue.

Balance Mode helps you find a sense of tranquillity. Enjoy a relaxing atmosphere, soothing driving sounds and softer interior lighting. If you've opted for a massage seat in your MINI, it will even activate an in-seat massage.

She’s a wild swimming advocate, photographer and author based in Scotland who has helped spread the word on the benefits of a bracing dip. Not only that, but she’s built a wonderfully welcoming community along the way.

Anna took us along for a bracing dip in the North Sea. It was a world of beautiful scenery, restorative waters and a real sense of escapism.
