The tuning kit boosts the output of the twin-scroll turbocharger in a MINI Cooper S with manual transmission to an incredible 147 kW, with maximum torque of 250 Nm between 1,700 and 5,000 rpm. With the overboost function, 270 Nm can be achieved between 1,800 and 5,000 rpm – enough to take the MINI Cooper S from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.8 seconds, and on to a maximum speed of 234 km/h. The sport silencer, with its muscular tailpipe trims in Chrome and optimised exhaust gas routing, is not just a visual highlight, it also gives a throatier engine note. A specially developed air filter system which improves power delivery completes the kit. The engine management software has been reconfigured so as to squeeze every last drop of power out of your MINI, ensuring it delivers invigorating acceleration right across the rev range.
For models from 03/10. 147kW (200hp). Comprises JCW air filter system, sport silencer in stainless steel with JCW trim in Chrome, exhaust manifold (for higher operating temperatures), modified engine electronics, JCW emblems for front grille and tailgate, JCW engine plate with kit number, JCW certificate of authenticity.
