ARRANGING YOUR TEST DRIVE.
Ready to get your fun face on? Choose your favourite model and location using our MINI test drive request form. Your retailer will confirm your booking and find you the closest available match to your chosen MINI. Once that’s sorted, strap yourself in and let your playful side take over.
One thing to note: you must be over 21 to drive some models. Just ask your retailer for details.
FUN SORTED. WHAT ELSE TO BRING?
Your test drive all booked in. We’ll bring the fun, you bring yourself – along with your driving license. In case your spontaneous side takes over and you decide to buy your new MINI on the spot, you’ll need proof of address, vehicle tax and insurance policy to drive your car home. Your MINI retailer will be able to arrange free 5 Day Drive Away Car Insurance, so you can get on the road straight away. Alternatively, you can bring your own insurance policy documents as proof of cover. We want you to have the best test drive experience, so if there’s anything you’re unsure about, have a chat with the retailer before you leave the house.
PLANNING YOUR ROUTE TO WOOHOO!
Whilst the retailer will be happy to join your test drive, you may decide you’d like to drive alone. Afterall, you never know when a “WOOHOO!” might escape. Just let them know beforehand to be sure. There’s no judgement here. We’d just suggest a combination of A and B roads to experience your MINI in different environments. Please ask your retailer for a route recommendation if you’re unsure.

Once you’re back at the retailers, ask as many questions as you like – whether it’s about trims, finance options, or anything else. You may be grinning from ear-to-ear, but there’s no pressure to decide on the spot. Take your time, do a little more research, and if you fancy another spin or want to try a different MINI, just ask. That MINI personality has a habit of rubbing off, but we’ll let you be the judge.
