Roadside Assistance Cover.

All new MINI’s benefit from Roadside Assistance cover in the first three years of ownership to offer you peace of mind for any of those unforeseen events.

All approved used MINI’s come with a minimum 12 months Roadside Assistance cover.

Our experienced multilingual staff are on hand to help provide 24 hour support, 365 days a year in the event you require assistance. They’ll look to help you on the phone in the first instance to try and get you back on the road as quickly as possible.

We’ll arrange assistance when a vehicle is immobilised. ‘Immobilised’ means an electrical or mechanical breakdown, road traffic accident, lost keys, misfuelling, damage or destruction by fire, theft or vandalism.

After the three year cover expires, you’ll have the option to purchase a MINI Insured Roadside Assistance policy, offering you continued peace of mind.

Should you require assistance following an accident, vehicle breakdown, fire or theft, please call MINI Roadside Assistance on: 0800 777 101 or 020 8603 9990 if calling from within Continental Europe.

Customer service technicians

In the event that you require further help, wherever practical to do so, we’ll arrange for one of our MINI Customer Service Technicians to attend your location and attempt to fix your car at the roadside.

Each one carries the latest diagnostic equipment and Genuine Parts to maximise their ability to successfully repair your car. We’ll even send you a link so that you can track their progress as they make their way to you.

Should your car need to be recovered to a MINI centre, we’ve got that covered too. We’ll arrange recovery to your nearest MINI centre, whether that be recovery location or home address.

Onward mobility

We’ll keep you mobile until your vehicle is repaired* and arrange a replacement hire car through one of our providers. You’ll be required to hold a valid driving license and comply with their standard terms and conditions.

Alternatively, should a hire car not be suitable we’ll support alternative means of travel to get you back on your way – whether that be public transport or taxi.

*48 hours in the event of an accident.

Hotel Accomodation
Should it be more practical for you, we’ll arrange overnight accommodation in the event you breakdown more than 50 miles from your home address. We’ll pay up to £100 for one night, bed and breakfast for you and your passengers, within the UK – Four nights if you breakdown within Continental Europe.
Assistance required

Should you suffer a puncture we’ll attempt to repair the tyre at the roadside. If a temporary repair isn’t possible, we’ll recover you to the nearest MINI Centre, who’ll assist you further.

We’ll keep you mobile until your MINI Centre can supply and fit a replacement tyre.*

*Only for tyres ordered through the MINI Tyre Programme. In all other cases we’ll support with up to 24 hours mobility.

In car functionality
New MINI models are supported with a number of in-car functionalities, giving you the ability to contact our dedicated team through the iDrive system. In the event of an accident, the car will trigger an interaction with our team, who’ll then make the necessary arrangements, as well as emergency services if required.
Connected app
Roadside Assistance can also be accessed via the MINI Connected App on your smart phone. This provides immediate access to support and innovative features such as real time roadside technician tracking.
