MILE OF MINIS 2025.

On 27 April, we united with The Italian Job fundraising team once again to show support at the annual charity event, Mile of MINIs, where drivers of more than 120 classic and modern MINIs got behind the wheel to spread a boot-load of MINI magic. Colours and models from across the decades stretched out as far as the eye could see, forming a mile-long convoy from our plant in Oxford and driving all the way to Swindon. With maps in hand and engines humming, eyes were on the road with hearts full of Big Love.

A DAY OF FEELS BEHIND THE WHEEL.
Starting at our plant in Oxford, drivers gathered for a quick cuppa and a look round the MINI museum. Here they could glimpse the first car ever built at the plant – the 1914 Morris Oxford Bullnose. It’s also home to the R53 MINI Cooper which featured as a stunt car in the 2003 remake of The Italian Job. Members of the new MINI family were out in force too and participants got to feast their eyes on the new MINI John Cooper Works, MINI Cooper 5-door and MINI Cooper Convertible.
Setting off with their roadbooks in hand, the scenic route took our drivers out into the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside before heading towards the finishing line through Wiltshire. They travelled along the most charming B roads until they arrived at their destination. Pulling into Plant Swindon, which produces over 350 different pressed parts for the MINI body shell, the drivers lined up in celebratory convoy to mark a true MINI moment.
THE MINI COMMUNITY. BIG HEART, BIG LOVE.
Known for its big heart, our MINI community loves coming together to
support causes that matter. One of the worthiest is charity Buttle UK, which provides support to children and young people facing financial hardship and challenging social issues. This year the Mile of MINIs raised a fantastic £7,000 for Buttle UK and we’re already gearing up to make an even bigger impact next year.
The fundraising rally is all made possible by the organisation behind it, The Italian Job, which has raised over £3 million for children’s charities since 1990 while proudly celebrating the spirit and heritage of our beloved MINI cars.
Get involved in spreading the love and be part of the MINI community’s fundraising efforts – just keep an eye on The Italian Job website for details.
