MINI, MADE TO ORDER.
When one of our devoted MINI enthusiasts from the US asked for a custom-crafted, one-of-one, MINI John Cooper Works Convertible, it was an easy yes. Never ones to shy away from pushing our craft further, a specialist team came together across product, design, and the local market.
Something this special needed a name, so the MINI.01 was born. The corner-hungry convertible features colour combinations we’ve never done before, along with 50 exclusive details across its interior and exterior. All thanks to a customer who doesn’t do ordinary.
The result? MINI at its best.
COLOUR, CHARACTER AND JCW DNA.
A two-tone, triple-layered paint finish in Midnight Black and a striking metallic green extends to the rear diffuser, giving this track-inspired convertible extra oomph. Wing mirrors in monochrome stripes add a subtle nod to fun, while 18-inch JCW Rallye Spoke alloy wheels channelled its racing DNA. Colour-matched front and side winglets carry the JCW theme through with bespoke detailing. Topping it off is what felt only right: a Union Jack soft-top roof, a tribute to MINI Plant Oxford and the brand’s British heritage.
DETAILS THAT GO DEEP.
On this project, the team went deep on detail, further cementing its commitment to vehicle personalisation, crafting bespoke details like never before. The addition of ‘MINI SUPER SPECIAL 001’ above the front wheelarch and a MINI.01 badge on the boot lid dialled up the detail.
PERSONALITY SEWN IN.
Inside the theme continues, with MINI.01 badging acting as a quiet signature on the steering wheel, wireless charging unit and floor mats. Green colour-matched accents flow through the cabin, appearing in the seat inserts, toggle bar trim, decorative dashboard strap and Harman Kardon speaker trim.
A MASTERPIECE MADE IN OXFORD.
