MAXIMUM MINI THRILLS. WHO’S IN?
From the heights of the MINI Challenge Series to the depths of the Dakar Rally, our passion for performance has taken us to some amazing places. Including the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2017. The most electrifying MINI to date – the MINI Countryman Plug-in Hybrid – was the star of the stand as it made its UK debut. We also showcased our heart-racing John Cooper Works Range.
AN ELECTRIFYING DEBUT.
The MINI Countryman Plug-in Hybrid wowed crowds as it made its debut on the Goodwood Hillclimb in the First Glance category. The lucky crowds at the Festival of Speed were some of the first to get up close with our very first hybrid creation. This MINI showcases incredible power and energy with a fraction of the emissions.
CHARGING THE HILLCLIMB.
We knew the MINI Countryman Plug-in Hybrid would feel right at home at the Festival of Speed, thanks to performance credentials like 0-60mph in just 6.8 seconds and a power output of 224bhp. This MINI showed what it’s made of by taking on the illustrious Hillclimb, joining a host of new models in the First Glance category.
TAKE A BREATHER.
The MINI Countryman Picnic Area was the perfect spot for Goodwood-goers to take five and recharge. With space to chill out, munch on a picnic and put your feet up, it was the ideal pit stop for petrol heads. There was even a handful of adventure-ready MINI Countryman models on display, showcasing accessories and features like the Picnic Bench and Roof Tent.
VIP OWNER’S LOUNGE.
Those lucky enough to call themselves MINI owners enjoyed the VIP treatment. Our owner’s lounge was a quiet haven from the hustle and bustle of the festival. Our owners were able to grab a seat, put their feet up and take a beat.
ENGINEERED FOR EXCITEMENT.
We took attendees through MINIs heritage in horsepower and into the future of motoring. The new MINI Countryman Plug-in Hybrid represented the next step in driving, while the MINI John Cooper Works range on display was a celebration of MINI’s core DNA. The road-ready MINI John Cooper Works range brought the power, performance and energy of our racing heritage to our stand at Goodwood.
