Six cities, six days. That was our summer challenge for the nation’s favourite P.E. teacher, Joe Wicks. As a longstanding MINI Ambassador, Joe and his team jumped into a MINI Countryman to kickstart the P.E. with Joe's UK tour, supporting Children in Need with 100% of proceeds going towards the charity.
From West Sussex to Edinburgh, Joe took his workouts to some of the country’s most iconic spaces for a good old fitness session with over 6000 exercise-keen participants. After hundreds of star jumps, fans then got the opportunity to meet and take photos with the somewhat sweaty fitness coach post-workout. The event raised a staggering £50,000 for Children in Need.
Being a huge MINI fan, Joe also took his Countryman for a bit of a de-tour to visit nearby attractions. He stopped to enjoy an archery session at Warwick Castle, a hike at the Wainstones in the North York Moors, and paused for a pitstop by the seaside on the North East coast (where he camped out on top of his Countryman with a well-earned brew). You can see what he got up to in the video below.
