CLIMATE IMPACT
THE CO2e FOOTPRINT OF THE MINI COUNTRYMAN.

Every vehicle leaves a CO2 footprint throughout its life-cycle – from procurement and production to usage and recycling, to disposal of raw and other materials. CO2 equivalents (CO2e) are a unit of measurement to standardise the climate impact of different greenhouse gases, such as methane.
Emissions generated along the supply chain, by transport logistics and upstream energy provision, are reported as CO2e. Our renewable energy comes from regenerative in-house systems and direct supply contracts, with certified proof of origin.

Your MINI Countryman C comes with a footprint of 8.5 t of CO2e.
For MINIs with combustion engines, most of the CO2e is generated during the usage phase, based on WLTP consumption and a mileage of 200,000 km. That’s about 125,000 miles. That’s why we focus on efficiency during the design process and provide an insight into your driving statistics in the MINI app.
Emission values in the life-cycle assessment are model- and equipment-specific. These ones are for the MINI Countryman C left-hand drive version. The figures for each life-cycle phase will vary for other MINI models.
