WHAT YOUR MINI’S WARNING LIGHTS MEAN.

Your MINI has a range of warning and service lights that give you vital information about its status, from urgent issues to helpful reminders. Below, you’ll find a general guide to warning and service lights – what they mean and what you need to do. Some models display different lights, so we recommend checking your MINI’s manual (it should be in the glove box) and our interactive online drivers’ guide.

RED LIGHTS.

Never ignore red lights – they’re there to warn you about problems that could pose a risk to your MINI or your safety.

YELLOW LIGHTS.

Yellow lights shouldn’t be ignored either. They tell you when something’s not working properly and needs to be checked, or let you know when an important function is switched on or off.

GREEN LIGHTS.

Green lights let you know which functions are switched on – they’re especially handy for knowing which lights you’re using.
