How to enter this prize draw:
1. All entrants to the prize draw must be residents of the United Kingdom, aged 21 years or over and have held a full driving licence valid in the UK for the last 2 years with less than 6 points on their licence.
2. Entries are made by fully completing and submitting the digital data capture form on a BMW GROUP device to a MINI representative at the Goodwood Revival.
3. The start date for the prize draw is 07:00 8th September 2023
4. The closing date for the prize draw is 19:00 10th September 2023
5. All entries received after this time on the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
6. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt. No responsibility can be accepted for entries incomplete, delayed, damaged, wrongly delivered or not received for whatever reason.
7. By submitting an entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Eligibility:
8. Employees and agents of BMW (UK) Limited and its associated companies, their immediate families or anyone professionally connected with this prize draw are excluded from entry. Only one entry per person, per household.
9. In entering this prize draw, you confirm you are eligible to do so. The Promoter may require you to provide evidence of your eligibility.
10. The Promoter will not accept entries that are completed by third parties, are in bulk, illegible, have been reconstructed, forged or are incomplete.
11. The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit of intention of the prize draw.
12. Entries cannot be returned.
Prize:
13. There will be one winner who will receive a Canopy and Stars voucher with £500 value and a weekend loan of a MINI (vehicle choice is at MINI’s discretion and subject to availability).
a. Winner of this prize must pass BMW Group Driver Checks before confirmation of the prize
b. Winner’s loan of the MINI must coincide with their booking at Canopy and Stars
c. Winner has one year to redeem the voucher and book the loan of the car
d. Voucher will be provided via email to redeem directly on the Canopy and Stars website
14. The winner will be responsible for Vehicle maintenance and electric vehicle charging or fuel costs .
15. The MINI vehicle will be provided on a loan basis. The loan of the MINI vehicle is subject to a separate loan agreement and the MINI key loan car terms. The winner must agree to the terms set out in the loan agreement and loan car terms before taking possession of the MINI vehicle.
16. The loan agreement and the MINI key loan car terms will be provided to the winner upon the announcement of the winner. The main provisions of those terms are:
a. The MINI vehicle can only be used for journeys within mainland United Kingdom.
b. The MINI vehicle may only be driven by the winner, only for private use excluding commuting and travelling sales and not for any form of racing. The winner is responsible for any fines, congestion or other charges arising from use of the car and for any damage arising from his/her failure to take reasonable care. The MINI vehicle is insured subject to any insurance excess of £500 for each and every claim under £5,000 and £1,000 for each and every claim in excess of
£5,000.
c. Please note these excesses are in addition to any amount payable as a result of misfuelling and/or engine damage due to navigating through flooded areas. For clarity in such instances an additional excess to the value of 10% of the repair costs will be charged.
d. Insurance does not cover personal belongings.
e. MINI has the right to refuse permission to drive if driving offences / disqualifications have occurred or if MINI otherwise considers the driver is unfit to drive subject to appropriate licence checks.
g. MINI does not guarantee that the winner’s preferred weekend can be met.
17. The Canopy and Stars voucher terms:
a. You have a year to use the voucher (Gift Card) to book, but the stay can take place at a later date;
b. Gift Cards can be used in part of full payment of a booking and Canopy and Starts also give Gift Card change;
c. You can book online using the Reference Number supplied in winner email or phone the Guest Experience team on +44(0)1172047830 to redeem
d. Gift Cards are valid for any place and any dates
18. Unless stated otherwise in these terms and conditions the prize excludes transfers, meals and drinks, accommodation, excursions, attractions, fuel, gratuities, telephone calls, taxes, further personal expenses, and anything not expressly included in the prize.
19. The prize may be withdrawn from the said winner outlined above and a new winner drawn if the prize is not accepted within 3 days of notification.
20. No cash alternative to the prize will be offered and the prize is not transferable.
21. No purchase necessary.
22. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the promotion will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
23. Entry implies acceptance of these rules.
24. The promoter reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value should circumstances make this necessary.
Winner Announcement:
25. The winner will be the first entry drawn at random from all properly submitted and eligible entries on or around 18th September 2023.
26. The winners will be notified by 20th September 2023 and informed about the details of the prize.
27. The prize may be withdrawn from the winner outlined above and a new winner drawn if the prize is not accepted within 3 days of notification.
28. No purchase necessary.
29. The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the prize draw will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
30. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value should circumstances make this necessary.
31. The winner's names and county will be available 28 days after 18th September by sending a stamped addressed envelope to BMW UK, Summit ONE, Summit Ave, Farnborough GU14 0FB
Limitation of Liability:
32. The Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Entrant's statutory rights are not affected.
Data Protection and publicity:
33. If you are the winner of this prize drawn you agree that the Promoter may use your name, image and town or county of residence to announce the winner and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes
34. By entering this prize draw, any personal information provided by you with your prize draw entry may be held and used only by the Promoter or its agents and suppliers to administer this prize draw. 35. You can amend or withdraw your consent for your data to be used for promotional purposes at any time by contacting Customer Services on 0800 561 0666 or sending an email to customer.information@bmw.co.uk. You are also able to request information about your data stored at BMW UK as well as request the correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data.
General:
36. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in this prize draw.
37. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend this prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
38. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
