GERMAN MANAGEMENT, ENGLISH SPIRIT.

Now that England’s men’s football team has a German manager, we can really get behind it. We’ve been happily under German management for nearly 30 years ourselves. So we thought it’d be rude not to give the new gaffer a proper MINI welcome. How did we do it? The English way of course…

TIME TO TALK TACTICS.

Wembley might be the place for pulling off wonders, but it’s not famed for easy parking. So how did we blag Wembley’s top parking space? It’s easy when you’ve got a bucket full of English spirit and German precision. Giving a playful nod to an old rumour, that certain holidaymakers get up early to claim the best sun loungers, we leaned on our own brand of cheekiness to sneak into Wembley first. Then all we had to do was lay down our towel and wait for the new England manager to arrive.

That’s the big welcome done, but this was a day for fans to get behind their new man too. We lined the legendary Wembley Way with words of support, as well as Box Park’s giant screen. Flags lined the stadium’s boulevard with messages such as “English Spirit. German Management” and “A match made in heaven” as we added to the pre-match buildup. What a fitting way to celebrate the winning combination of our own English heritage and German ownership.
