One iconic brand. One million cars sold. Yes, at MINI we’ve only gone and achieved a massive new sales figure milestone. Just over 20 years since modern MINI car production began in 2001, we’re proud to have sold our millionth car in the UK alone. And while we’d never condone doing donuts in the car park to celebrate, it is the kind of news that makes it tempting.

This achievement is testament to the fantastic cars we’ve built and launched during that time, our customers’ continued love for MINI, and the strength and unwavering dedication of our retail network…we’re excited to see what the next twenty years hold.
A FULLY ELECTRIC FUTURE.
What’s next then? With MINI Electric and MINI Countryman Plug-In Hybrid models already accounting for almost a fifth of global electrified sales, few car brands are so far down the path to full electrification – a goal set to be realised in the early 2030s. To help us achieve this, we plan to launch our last ever internal combustion model in 2025.
