MINI UK Coronavirus statement.
As a responsible company, the health and safety of our customers, our partners and our staff have the highest priority as we face the challenges of the Coronavirus. To minimise the risk of infection as far as possible, we are following all guidelines issued by Public Health England and reviewing our own policies daily, keeping our staff fully informed.
We have taken the difficult decision to cease production at our UK, European and South African plants as of Monday 23 March for a period of four weeks until 17 April. This decision is the culmination of a number of factors that are affecting the automotive industry at this time, namely the protection of the health and well-being of our employees, the potential for disruption to our suppliers and to a decline in global market demand. Our workforce is central to our company’s success and we are doing everything we can to support them at this time.
As you might expect, we are receiving higher than normal volumes of customer enquiries at this time. For answers to the most frequently asked questions, such as those regarding finance agreements, we would ask that you first refer to the information on our Online Genius. Please click here for more information.
In line with the latest government guidance, all showrooms at MINI Centres are now closed. We are working with our retailers to establish what they are able to offer in terms of essential service and repair, and will update you as soon as we can.
If you need urgent vehicle maintenance, please check the availability of your local MINI Centre via telephone or website. You can also search for a MINI Approved Used car and reserve it online here, or you can configure a new car and make an enquiry here.
